Is Wearable Fitness Technology Worth It?
Today, there are so many ways to track progress in the fitness industry, that it can almost become confusing. There's Apple Watches, FitbBits, Garmin Trackers, and various fitness apps. Depending on what your goal is could determine what kind of tracking technology you use. If youre a runner, apps like Nike Run are probably the best option to track progess. Apple Watches and FitBits are also exceptional choices to track distance, calories burned, and time. Believe it or not, sleep is also a crucial part of recovery. I know Apple Watches have sleep trackers to monitor REM and heartbeat during sleep. If you're a lifter, wearable technology might not be the best option. You cn use apps, but it isn't wearable. I believe the best way to track lifting progress is good old-fashioned pen and paper!
